Listen to Lee Stott (Microsoft UK Evangelist) talk about what options you have when developing for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. MonoGame is mentioned quite a few times. This presentation took place at part of the recent Cambridge Game developers meetup.
This game is published by Microsoft Studios on the Xbox, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, possibly the first MonoGame powered game to be published my Microsoft and hopefully not the last :).

As some of you know, MonoGame uses SharpDX under the hood for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
Under Windows Phone 8's .NET runtime, Microsoft does not allow the use of [DllImport] so that you can directly access an existing native function from a DLL.
If you care about getting the best experience on Windows Phone 8 then please up vote this DllImport request, which asks Microsoft to allow [DllImport] under Windows Phone 8, and makes life so much easier for the SharpDX team.
